I just wanted to share with you a canvas piece I made for the Lindy's Stamp Gang Color Challenge for February and I am also entering it in Limor Webber's Mixed Media Art Group on Facebook. Limor wanted us to use the colors for Lindy's challenge as well and we was also suppose to incorporate something we wish we was better at to be a good artist or whatever you felt like you needed to be better at to be good at it...make sense..lol!! So that is where I wish I could paint came in. My is I wish I could paint then I would be a good artist. I don't feel like I'm that great with the colors and spraying the inks. I can embellish my canvases and I have a lot of fun doing it but when I get to the point of applying the color, I feel myself tensing up and get really nervous. So that is what I need to work at, is just letting it flow and not worry about it being perfect! :) So without further ado here is the picture of my canvas as a whole:
I did use a couple new (for me) techniques on this such as the stamping and the dripping of the inks. Here is a few more close ups:
