#12tagsof2015 March

Hello everyone!!

I am here again today to share with you my March's #12tagsof2015. You can get all the information and tutorial for this month's tag by clicking the picture below.....

I kind of struggled with this month's tag because I couldn't get the colors bold enough and my butterfly image that I embossed wasn't shiny like Tim's. But I think that could be because my Archival ink is running out...better get some more. lol!

So here is my take on this month's tag....

See my colors are light almost pastel but I still think it's pretty and reminds me of spring. I think I might try to do this tag again at a later date and see if I can nail the techniques. :)

Well I hope you like it and I had fun even though it didn't turn out the way I expected.
I hope you will come play along and do your own #12tagsof2015.
Have a nice day!!

I won!! I won!!

Rising Star Challenge

Hello everyone!!

I hope your having a great day so far! I have some exciting news to share :D I have been asked to be a guest designer for Laurie Moore's 2015 Challenge group on Facebook! YAY!! I am so honored! So for the month of April we are doing a Rising Star Challenge and here is what I came up with....

I went with the Steampunk kind of them because I couldn't do the "Hats Off" challenge last month and I really wanted to do a Steampunk one but I just couldn't squeeze it in. So I incorporated the theme this month on the star...I hope you like it and here is a few more pics....

I hope you will come and play along here is the link to the challenge page:

Here is the link to her Artfire Store where you can get the star kit for the challenge:

And last but not least here is a video that is over on my YouTube channel with all the details:

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of the day :)

My Secret Sisters Swap

Hello everyone!!

Today I have sort of a long post and it will photo and video heavy...so brace yourself!!

I wanted to share the projects that I made for my Secret Sister that I did for a swap hosted by Staplem1 on YouTube. I had a lot of fun and I'm glad I joined in.

My secret sister was Marla Rizzo and it's so funny that I got her because she is one of my close friends through YouTube and Facebook. It was a challenge to do this swap trying not to give myself away to quickly through my work...so I had to change things up a bit.

So the first thing I am going to share is the first little package I made her which was a card and I sent a small bag of goodies along with it.

....and here is the video that is over on my channel with all the details

Here is the second package of goodies that I sent to her. It is a box that I decoupaged a napkin over and I also sent a tag and a little puffy heart :) I sent this around Valentines Day so I did something along that theme. Oh and a tag too..lol

I really love how everything came out :)

Here is the video with all the details:

And my last and final package I sent to her...I thought she would have caught me on this one because I really didn't try to hide my style of work...but I still ended up telling her to go look through the box again for the reveal.

In this package I altered a corndog box, a bird cage, and made a tag card...which is my fav to do now!

Oh and I made some stickpins...

I really love the stickpins :)

Here is the video with all the details:

I also wanted to thank Laurie which is Moore Art from the Heart for helping me pull this off by mailing the first two packages so Marla wouldn't catch on...It cost a little bit more in shipping but it was worth it to surprise her!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and reading through such a long post!

Thank You Gifts

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share a box and a tag I made as a thank you gift for a friend for hosting a swap. I hope that she really likes it. The box is just one that you can get from Dollar Tree and the tag is a #8 Ranger tag. I used the Prima Julie Nutting Doll Stamp and paper pieced her dress together....

Here is a pic of the tag and box together...I know they don't exactly match so I hope she doesn't mind that....

Here is a close-up of the tag...

I think it turned out soooo cute!!!! I love her dress and it is a lot of fun to play with those stamps :)

Here are some more pics of the box....

I especially love the feet that I used on it...I think it turned out so cute!!!

I used a lot of yummy goodies from Kraft Supplies 4 U....so head on over to the shop and check out the store so many great things at great prices!!

And as always for more details check out my video that is over on my YouTube channel:
