Treasured Memories Box

Hello everyone!!

I just wanted to do a quick share with you :) and show you the box I altered. My hubby got me this box a couple years ago for mother's day from Walmart and it sat waiting to be altered. Well my hubby everytime he would walk into my room he would say "Soooo when you gonna alter that box??" Finally I did cause I didn't have anything else that was priority lol. I turned it into a "Treasured Memory Box" the inside is like a configuiration box to hold our wedding pics and anything else I feel like belongs in there. This is also my June DT Project for Craftsupplies1...I know I am a little late posting hehe.  So here it is.....

I really challenged myself to do Shabby Chic and not veer off..like I always do..lol. I think it turned out super cute and shabby. The papers really helped me with that too. They are the Prima Princess Collection which absolutely adore:)
So here is a few more close-ups and as always I will post my video at the end with all the details.

Here is a close-up of the front of the door. Its the top part that was once a picture frame. I used some chicken wire chipboard for the background and some yummy stuff from Craftsupplies1.

This is the bottom half of the front of the door.

this is a close-up of the side of the box I tried to lace up like a corset :)

Here is a distant view :)

And finally the inside of the box...I hung my pictures from Tim Holtz hanger paper clips....so cute..well at least I think so

This is a close-up of the configuration part of it. It was a lot of fun to decorate those little cubbies..also a lot of patience!

Here you can see my pictures hanging and also where I have pulled a few out. Even though you can't really see the hangers.

This is bottom part of the inside that is hidden behind the hangers.

And a picture of the inside without my hanging pictures... I think it turned out super cute and I am proud of myself for really making it shabby chic like I wanted:)

Last but not least here is my video with all the details that is also over on my YouTube channel!

Thanks for stopping by and comments are always welcome and appreciated :)
